May 14, 2020 · a large part of the re-textures projects look horrible. the HD pack has it's charms, but it is not faithful to the original aesthetic. (AKA it is not the super mario 64 that I remember) But the on on the post (upscaling super mario 64) looked amazing... it felt like if they re-release the game on switch they should do this.

Jul 24, 2018 · The resulting files will all need to be put into a single folder named "SUPER MARIO 64" (each texture pack needs to be named very specifically to the name of the game or else it won't work). Copy the texture pack to your Project64 texture pack path, for me it'll look like this: "D:\Project64 2.3\Plugin\hires_texture\SUPER MARIO 64"

Apr 21, 2022 · Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64 look great and perform well on Accurate or even Very Accurate but OoT and MM chug real slow even in High Performance mode. Update: These HD textures from Henriko Magnifico worked great for Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time. He also has a bunch of others going up to 3DS games and they all look amazing.

Sep 15, 2020 · That said, Nintendo actually remastered Super Mario 64 already for the Nintendo DS with new characters and stages. Why would they not port that version to the Switch instead? Most reviewers said it was the better version of the game.
