Dec 13, 2014 · I did a little research and the transformer came back as a dynaco and had read that they were using those Dynamo kits back then to make sunn heads. Can anyone tells how to really indentify this amp? It seams pretty rare.

1967-68 Sunn 2000s Prototype amp. This amp is rare. The earliest 2000s heads ever manufactured by Sunn. The amplifier has different features then any other 2000s. It does not have the bass boost switch. In my lifetime of seeing 2000s amps since the 1970's, I have never seen a 2000s without that bass boost switch.
