Jul 4, 2017 · My personal favorite for a Stout Halfling build is definitely a character concept I carried over from Pathfinder (Society). A Stout Halfling Barbarian Str 15 Dex 14+2 (Halfling) Con 15+1 (Stout) Int 8 Wis 10 Cha 8 Battleaxe/Longsword/Warhammer in two hands (versatile) is only ~1 point less effective than a greataxe, on average.

Jul 12, 2018 · I played a Stout Halfling Fenzy Barb and it was an EXTREMELY fun character. We did roll stats though so I was able to start 14 Str, 18 Dex, 18 Con, 4 Int, 12 Wis, 6 Cha. I did not roll a 4 but requested it for Int as I wanted to play him as a wild feral animal type.

Sep 4, 2017 · Fighters only need constitution and their attack attribute, and the extra ASIs give you plenty of wiggle room with attributes. You can be a dexteirty-based fighter with Dueling, Defensive Duelist, and a shield to make yourself practically unhittable in melee. Do that on a Stout Halfling and you should be golden.

Mar 21, 2019 · Long story short, I'm about to start playing a Stout Halfling Barbarian fluffed as a werewolf, and my DM and I were talking about trading some Halfling abilities for werewolf-like ones. Two of the trades he suggested was trading off Stout Resilience for (a) Darkvision, or (b) advantage on checks related to smell or sound.

Feb 12, 2019 · Coincidentally enough, once I rolled a random character and I was a Stout Halfling Vengeance Paladin with the Urchin background. All random including the stats(had great stats everywhere except for the 12 Cha) and even rolled a random free feat which I got Magic Initiate for Minor Illusion, Firebolt, and Find Familiar(DM let me have an Imp).

Sep 22, 2016 · I'm looking for the best halfling tank builds. I'm thinking of some stout barbarian builds (possibly mutliclass with the new ranger), halfling paladins, maybe an eldritch knight, not sure what else works well. I guess a ghostwise monk or druid is pretty awesome as well.

Nov 23, 2017 · My personal favorite I've imagined up is Str-based Rock Gnome EK, either Guild Artisan (Alchemist's Tools) or Sage. But I also like Str-based Stout Halfing Berkserker Barbarian Sailor, inspired by Dungeonomics. Because Halfling Viking raiders are awesome.
