Aug 14, 2018 · Although I watched Stan Mikita play hockey at the Chicago Stadium when I was a young boy, I first met Stan in person, appropriately enough, in church, when he and his wife Jill attended the wedding of my cousin, Gail Gray, and her husband, Rick Kuebel, on July 16, 1977. Rick’s sisters, Mary Beth and Barb, were babysitters for the Mikita children.
