Display Newels / Balusters / Hand Railings in the Staircase or Wall Railing in floor plan view. Display the Stair Breakline in plan view.

Nov 2, 2016 · Try playing with the view depth / cut plane of the drawing with a plan region so it's specific to the stair. Pairing that with an annotation break line symbol may be a work-around.

Mar 16, 2020 · You can use the break stair tool, adjust your stairs, then move the walls. You'll just need to adjust the drawing order to display properly in plan view and if 3D matters (which it does) then you'll need a solid to fix the portion of the wall cut by the stairs.

Mar 29, 2016 · I am having trouble remembering how to draw a stair that goes between two floors and makes two 180 degree turns before reaching the top. 1.) I am unsure about where to place the cut line. 2.) when showing the plan in stair, does it look different when shown on the plan of the first floor vs. the second floor? 3.)

Jun 18, 2024 · The break mark of a staircase is typically determined by the height of the Floorplan Cut Plane. However, if you do not want to change the cut plane as to not affect the appearance of the rest of your plan, the break mark of the stair can be modified independently in Edit Mode .
