St. Patrick’s Church. The faith that built St. Patrick’s Church can be traced back to the 5th century, and bishop Bronus of Kilaspugbrone who established an early Irish monastic settlement in the Strandhill peninsula. St. Patrick’s Church Strandhill was conceived in December 1919 from a growing need of the local people.

St. Patrick's Church is a Roman Catholic Church located in the village of Strandhill in County Sligo. The foundation stone was laid on St. Patrick's Day 1920. It was dedicated on 14th August 1921. It was renovated around 2010. It is one of two churches in Strandhill Ransboro Parish in the Diocese of Elphin.

Vigil mass: 7.30pm on the 1st 3 rd & 5 th Saturday each month except July and August, when it is every Saturday. Sunday: 9.30am & 12.30pm. Holy Days: 10.00 am Mass. Weekdays: 10.00 am Mass. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: Daily from 7 -8pm.
