Drive thru at sonic is just weird. Use the stall, that’s the whole point. Maybe drive thru for just a drink or something, that’s fine. 20 combos though, park it.

Sonic is traditionally a 'drive-in' restaurant so you don't have to get out of your car even if you stay at Sonic. They'll bring the food to your car. Of course you can go inside if you really want; at least at most Sonic restaurants I've been too.

My Sonic has a drive-thru line, except there's no window. Cars order at a traditional drive thru menu and then wait in a line for a carhop to bring the food. I never know if I am supposed to tip. I usually don't. I wish they had a normal drive thru.

May 7, 2022 · Sonic has been pretty much a dumpster fire lately between their screens not working, waiting 30mins+ in the drive thru, consistently getting orders wrong, and the lack of competent workers. I feel like management must be either non existent or just doesn’t care at all

May 8, 2022 · Hello I am Alexander Smith and I started to work at Sonic yesterday I went through training. For example I got trained on Switchboard, Bagging, Carhop, and Soda Dispenser. I have not been trained yet on drive-through. I mainly did Carhop after I got my badge or card, but I have not worked on Soda, Switch, or Bagging.
