Oct 24, 2019 · Most likely a Trico brand vacuum fan. There are several listed on ebay both the rubber type and the caged type which has a metal fan. Sometimes parts and pieces are listed. Or take yours apart and make new rubber blades and reassemble. Personally, I bought the caged type for my `36 40series coupe.

Jan 26, 2018 · I was told years ago to use glycerin to soften hard rubber and heal age cracks. I used it on tractor tires to heal age cracks and it worked well. I use it on the door seals on my Ford F1 every year to keep them soft. You do have to be careful if you soak the item in glycerin because it will turn rubber to mush if left to long.

Jun 8, 2011 · True rubber can be soaked in Automatic transmission fluid and it will soften it up to almost like new, It doesn't fill cracks though. I have some parts soaking in a vat of it right now. I'm not sure how it would work on seals that are like soft seal (foam type rubber) Never tried it on it.

May 20, 2019 · I am having problems with my '90 TC convertible top. The lower fabric 'rubber strip' on the outside bottom no longer seals against the rear window glass, allowing water to build up along the rear window. It doesn't leak into the storage area, but unless it dries out, when I put the top down, the water splashes into the rear compartment.

At the rear of the motor there is a support bracket that attaches to brackets on the frame. This bracket has a flat rubber piece bolted on top that serves as a fusion for the motor.

3 days ago · There should be some free play in the rubber grommet for this purpose. It's not even rubber, but almost a real soft silicone.. squishy material. Make sure that stop screw on the gold cad arm is not screwed in so much as to not allow the switch to engage.

If it was not too hard, the worse that will happen is the rubber debris will hold a valve open slightly for a short peroid while it breaks down and passes through the combustion chamber in pieces as char. This could result in some popping or back firing until the valve "clears and seats".
