Oct 13, 2019 · With lowering springs they roughly give a set height that it'll drop, so if you find some springs measure the drop against your car to see where it'll roughly sit. I think from memory, the eibach springs give a nice drop without being slammed! good thing with coilovers you can adjust ride height.

Jun 18, 2023 · The electronic PAS was also slammed. But now everything has a similar set up its regarded as a "great hot hatch chassis". The Type R went from independent rear suspension on the EP3 to a torsion beam on the FN2, so it was a downgrade.

In the US, the EP3 never got a DOHC VTEC engine from the factory. The RSX-S was the same chassis, arguably better looking, and had the proper K20A2. There was no option to have a Civic with that engine. The older EK/EG's were super popular to modify and put B-Series engines in.

The FN2 was a joke compared to the JDM FD2 (FN had dumbed down suspension, weaker engine, ext). The FK2 is pretty good, but pales in comparison to the FK8. The FK2 is barely lighter than the FK8, and the only offered FK8 is the touring trim with adjustable dampers and all the bells and whistles.
