Siyi Xu is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Science and Engineering at UIUC. She received her Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University in 2022 and her B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from UIUC in 2016.

My research focuses on developing soft robotic platforms that are equipped with compliant, lightweight, and compact sensing and energy transducing systems to advance wearable and implantable technologies for healthcare.
