Sig M11-A1 or HK P30 V3, which would you pick?
Jul 19, 2023 · That would be a hard one for me - being both a Sig & HK fan. The modularity of the P30 make it very easy for you to craft a grip that fits your hand, which imho is very nice. I’ve been a Sig fan a lot longer than I’ve been an HK fan, yet have comparable investments in terms of # of guns and $ spent on both HK and Sig.
M11-A1 Build Dates - SIG Talk
Jan 2, 2018 · Sometimes dealers get 4-5 of a model in and it takes a while to sell them all. I don't see anything about the M11-A1 being discontinued. A brand new, large LGS opened two weeks ago and they have several (all the low, low price of 1100! LOL) in stock. I even lucked out and one of my M11-A1s came with a chrome lined barrel.

I don't mind the hype about it being a 228 or 229, In my opinion it is an upgraded gun made from better materials. Jul 1, 2017 · The M11 (sidearm I was issued and carried in Germany) is a P228, Stamped & folded carbon steel slide, 9mm, no rail. The M11-A1 is the 229 platform which is essentially the 228 with a solid milled slide. P229 comes in 9mm, 357SIG / 40S&W. So basically, the M11 is a P228, and the M11-A1 is a P229.
