Apr 5, 2024 · Here are Canada’s top-ten bestselling books of 2023 in hardcover and trade paper. All of them are by foreign authors except for the cookbook. The most surprising thing to me about the Canadian book market is the insignificance of audiobook sales. In the US, audiobooks are 10.4 percent of the market and growing steadily.

Nov 25, 2022 · We are now averaging 5,000 readers a week. We need to talk about Indigo. As you know, it’s Canada’s biggest bookstore chain, with 88 superstores and 85 small-format stores. It sells well over half the books that are bought in stores in Canada, with Walmart, Costco, and independent bookstores accounting for most of the rest.
