Dragon is a fictional character from the Shrek franchise, who is initially believed to be a fearsome villain guarding Princess Fiona. In a twist, she is revealed to be female and in search of love.

Dragon is depicted as a ruby-colored dragon, initially known as the guard of the tower in which Princess Fiona awaits her rescuer in the first film, later becoming Donkey's mate. The Gingerbread Man, known as Gingy, is voiced by Conrad Vernon, and references the fairy tale of the runaway cookie.

Dragon, real name Elizabeth, is a major character in the Shrek franchise. She used to be the guardian of a castle that Princess Fiona was once locked away, that is until she met Shrek and Donkey, whom she fought against due to the intended liberation of said princess.

It also appeared to have a cow-like face, zebra-like stripes and leopard-like spots. It looks nothing like Dragon from the DreamWorks Animation's Shrek, since she has wings and lacks spots or stripes. The dragon did not like anybody who passed, so it slammed Shrek when he passed, despite him bowing.
