Edited: July 18, 2022, 4:59 PM · The vision strings have always been weird on Shar’s string charts. They’re old one had them in this order from warmest to brightest: VTS, VTO, Vision regular, Vision Solo.

Aug 3, 2020 · My favourite strings overall are Pirastro Perpetual "Edition", and Perpetual Solo depending on the cello; Thomastik Versum Solo; Larsen Magnacore Arioso is also a big winner if the cello needs to be set free - it can really lift the character of your cello into another dimension.

Mar 4, 2021 · The Fiddlershop chart differs from the Shar chart. Notably, it places Tonica as being warmer than Dominant, whereas the Shar chart shows the opposite. There is also substantial divergence in all the Vision strings, as well as Evah Pirazzi Gold, Zyex, and several other brands.
