SABER is an online platform developed by SASO to facilitate the registration and certification of products before they enter the Saudi market. It replaces the traditional paper-based process, making it easier for importers to obtain Product Certificates of Conformity (PCoC) and Shipment Certificates of Conformity (SCoC) .

SASO (Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization) is introducing SALEEM SABER, an electronic certification and conformity assessment system that will be mandatory for all imported goods entering Saudi Arabia by December 2018.

With the development of the Saudi Product Safety Program (SALEEM), SASO has implemented SABER, an electronic conformity assessment platform.

Through the SABER system, importers can register goods imported into the Kingdom, issue a Certificate of Conformity (COC) and a Certificate of Conformity for the shipment, and implement all steps electronically with ease and convenience.
