Our award winning Campground is nestled in the foothills of Santee, just 20 minutes from many of San Diego’s big attractions. The San Diego Trolley is nearby and you can access San Diego’s beautiful beaches, downtown, a Padre’s game, Balboa Park or Old Town.

Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve hosts over 670,000 visitors a year. The 190‐acre Park with 7 beautiful recycled water lakes that are stocked with sport fish year-round.

Super easy walking path around the Santee Lakes Park. Mostly paved, but great place for beginner walkers or for a walk when it's muddy out on the natural trails. Pathways go completely around Lakes 2-6, so you can make it as short or long as you like/need.
