Oct 7, 2022 · My Sansui 2000x became very weak in one channel only. I found a blown rear panel fuse and was very surprised that the channel worked at all. I replaced the fuse with same and it is working fine. Was the blown fuse a fluke or should I be concerned that something else is amiss?

Jul 9, 2017 · Adjust T403 (center rear of board) for the maximum peak to peak 38 kHz signal, about 3 V. If there's no signal here, you've probably got a control circuit problem. See the troubleshooting info below.

I also decided to replace the old mica insulators and nasty Dow Corning 5 grease with some fresh mica insulators and some proper thermal grease, cheap insurance for what little effort it requires on this model.
