But I don't know how someone as smart and thoughtful as Mr. Regular, a dude who himself experienced tremendous bullying, could support an aggressively unrepentant bigot like Sam Hyde.

Sam was repeatedly conveying that he felt like he was being punked. Like he expected being punked almost exclusively, and tried to overdo that exactly to Ian first. That being said, I figured he would know exactly what he was getting into with Sam Hyde lol.

His biological mom lives in a tiny apartment and has been broke since divorcing Sam's dad and Sam's dad is a doctor who was very wealthy but cut Sam off after he crashed one of his sports cars.

I get Porsches are a status symbol but I feel like they’re the most basic of the “I have money and I want you to know it” items. One of Sam’s personal follys is his constant jockeying for posterity that he’s made it. Almost to Tate levels.
