Salina Turda (Hungarian: tordai sóbánya) is a salt mine in the Durgău-Valea Sărată area of Turda, the second largest city in Cluj County, northwest Transylvania. Opened for tourists in 1992, the Salina Turda mine was visited by about 618,000 Romanian and foreign tourists in 2017.

Salina Turda was a fun museum experience with a bit of added play. We rented a boat to row around the salt lake, and enjoyed looking around the history of the salt mine. The mine itself is stunning and extremely photogenic. Look out for the owl! There are pool tables, table tennis, and mini golf as well. The staff are friendly and helpful.
