I definitely agree that Sakura is underrated. I used her throughout the entirety of Birthright and rarely saw her as a liability. While Felicia was definitely more visible as a unit in terms of healing and combat, Sakura was quietly in the background, offering support, which interesting enough fits her personality to a T.

Sakura Slash is also very nice to have on Longswords that posses some type of status/element. Landing the two main attacks results in twelve hits in rapid succession, so that can really help with status procs. I find running a high raw status Longsword (such as the Bazel LS for blast) works great with Sakura Slash.
