Sachhi Saheli is a grassroots Indian non-profit organization which has been empowering women & children to become agents of change in society through activities like health, hygiene, sanitation & sensitization specified education.

Our work on women's health includes long standing campaigns against coercive population control policies, hazardous contraceptives, sex-determination, the unethical sale of emergency contraceptives and vaccines against cervical cancer.

To promote social harmony and eliminate inequality and discrimination through a humanitarian approach by strengthening health and education for a better society. To build up a society that is equitable, healthy, cultured, and prosperous, where all individuals can flourish and achieve their maximum potential.

Saheli (meaning friend) is a charity making a big difference in the local community, providing safe spaces, culturally sensitive support, language assistance, and a voice and identity to Black Asian and minortised women facing violence in their lives.

Our mission is to provide support and refuge from domestic abuse to women from Black, Asian and minority communities and their children, to improve social inclusion, build confidence and skills, achieve emotional and practical well-being, and enable them to lead independent lives.
