Rifle Scopes What's the REAL story on SWFA? - Sniper's Hide
Feb 10, 2019 · There isn't another $300 scope that I would trust for tracking reliability anywhere nearly as much as the SWFA fixed power models. I run an SWFA HD 5-20 on my 6.5 CM. Awesome scope. Wish they'd add a zero stop and update the reticle. But I've taken my creedmoor to 1,100 yards with the 5-20 and it just doesn't have issues.
Rifle Scopes SWFA SS 1-4HD compared to a few other optics
Feb 21, 2011 · Re: SWFA SS 1-4HD compared to a few other optics Hokie great review and very valuable information on choosing a scope. I'm in the market to pick a short range 1-4x and you have almost narrowed all my choices. I have only one other scope in …
Rifle Scopes Review of the SWFA Super Sniper 1-4X24 HD
Feb 21, 2011 · By trade SWFA has a finger on the pulse of the optics industry. They know what works, what doesn’t, what sells, and what the end user wants in a comprehensive scope for the AR platform. SWFA ventured to assess, design, manufacture, and drop such an investment into the mosh pit of competing heavy duty optics.
SWFA ultra-light 2.5-10 | Sniper's Hide Forum
Dec 11, 2024 · This is the conclusion I drew from watching the cdoes review. I wish SWFA would either do this scope as a 2-8 or bump it up to 30mm and trade another oz or 2 for better optics. Without a doubt, lightweight scopes with good modern reticles and features is the biggest hole in the optics market right now.
New optics from SWFA coming soon? - Long Range Hunting Forum
Nov 29, 2024 · I sighted in the new SWFA 3-15 FFP scope this weekend. I really like it. I mounted it to Rem 700 30.06. The adjustments work great. The zero stop works great. The glass is better than i expected. I used the Leupold 20 moa picatinny steel base. I used the SWFA 30 mm low rings. With the low rings the adjustment knob barely clears.
swfa scopes | Sniper's Hide Forum
Aug 11, 2010 · High contrast plates at 300 (black on sand background) are blurry and the edges round off. At 400, it's useless. My little $200 SWFA 10x is noticeably clearer at twice the distance. I tried Burris, other Vortex scopes, Nikon, and they were garbage in comparison to the cheapy SWFA. Since, I've found a bunch of scopes I like more than the SWFA.
Rifle Scopes Quick review of the SWFA SS 6X - Sniper's Hide
Mar 8, 2011 · Zombie thread!!! The fixed power line from SWFA are hard to beat for value. They are near nuke proof tough. Track like a $2k scope. And have decent glass. I have a 10x SWFA and I like the fit and finish, and the feel of the clicks more than my Bushnell Tactical Elite 3-12. I highly recommend them. The 10x and 12x seem to be the best all rounders.
Rifle Scopes Arken Optics vs Vortex Strike Eagle vs SWFA HD 10x, …
Nov 26, 2007 · I have the new Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25x56 and have no complaints. Clear optics, plenty of relief, good solid "clicks" in adjustment, zero stop, illumination and of course the Vortex warranty. Try AA Optics , great service and discounts for LEO and service members.
Rifle Scopes SWFA 5-20 vs. Burris XTRII 5-25 or 4-20 - Sniper's Hide
Jun 11, 2018 · Glass on the SWFA is the best of the bunch hands down. The 5-20s will compete - clarity wise - with scopes costing a lot more. They are practically bomb proof and track very consistently. That being said, the XTR2s are also excellent optics. For what they lack in glass quality, they do make up for with their feature sets.
Swfa response to closing question. - Long Range Hunting Forum
Jun 2, 2011 · The first thing we did was start our own branding by developing the logo and changing the name from "Super Sniper" to "SWFA-SS". We expanded the line further by introducing four new HD models (10x42HD, 1-4xHD 3-9xHD, 5-20xHD). As the SWFA-SS line of optics continued expanding, so did the need for resources to keep up with the growing SWFA …
