May 13, 2017 · So I have been looking for a good rifle to sbr but I have a deep love for the look, feel, and handling of a traditional stock. This being said I have decided that I'm going to stick to 30 cals for my two rifles for suppressor reasons in the future. I have heard the 7.62x39 is a great round for a short barrel, it's a cheap and common round, and it keeps to suppressor compatibility I …

May 20, 2017 · The sbr sks seems like it would be a relatively cheap way to have something serious that could fit under a long coat/ be well suited for humping through the brush in a survival situation.
SBR SKS...
Sep 15, 2014 · I've owned an SKS in the past, about 10 years ago and looking to get another. I'm also looking to SBR it. Yes, I'm familiar with the legal stuff, but that's not what this thread is about. I'd like the barrel to stick out just past the furniture. My main concern is proper gas system function. Has this been done before? Would anybody like to school me on this? Not having an SKS in front of me ...
SBR SKS?
Sep 7, 2010 · Hey guys, just picked up my first SKS. Traded a non running dirt bike for it. Its a norinco numbers matching. I just ordered my dark earth tapco stock, 20rd mag, and forward grip. Hope it all comes in by tomorrow or wednesday. My question is, can the SKS be sbr'ed? Can you shorten the gas tube? I want a shorter barrel and would like the gas tube to end at around the end of the stock, then have ...

Dec 3, 2015 · I think I remember seeing some pictures on the board from someone who built a sbr AR-15. I am thinking about building one myself in 300 blackout and am looking for some advice. This is going to be a long term project because of money, and probably something that won't be built until I have a job after college. However, I would like to get started on the paperwork over Christmas break when I ...
SBR SKS?
Why would you cut a barrel to 16.5" and install a new site? The Paras haven't all dried up, have they? Nope, but if you want to bubba your SKS up a bit (and who doesn't once in awhile ) and don't want to mess up a perfectly good and mildly collectible original paratrooper, then this is …

Sep 18, 2013 · That would make it an SBR for sure. I have heard people say that just by owning and having the parts in the same proximity is a violation of the law. If that is true, how can they legally sell these carbine kits without requiring an SBR stamp? Same applies for the Hera Arms Glock and 1911 carbine conversions.
