Rc1 1007-1026: 4 LJH108 motorer på vardera 900 kW. 135 km/t. Byggda 1967–68 av ASEA i Västerås i samarbete med Vagn och Maskinfabriken i Falun, NOHAB i Trollhättan samt Motala Verkstad. Loken byggdes för både person- och godståg.

Rc1 - Rc4 är i stort sett lika till det yttre, medan Rc5 och Rc6 har större luftintag längs taket och annorlunda vindrutor med metallinfattning, samt annorlunda boggier. Sent levererade Rc6 fick UIC-kontakter under vänster frontruta. Samtliga Rc går att multipelkoppla med varandra.
