Gamer’s Lounge: the hub for eSports and recreational gaming on SFU Burnaby campus! Located on the second floor of the Student Union Building, the lounge features 16 high-spec gaming PCs and 2 TVs for console gaming.

There is a gamers lounge for online gaming in the SUB. The room will be equipped with digital displays, gaming consoles and power / data for individual gaming.

All students, staff, and faculty are invited to take a break and drop by the lounge to de-stress and have some fun! Enjoy games like Giant Jenga and Connect 4, Corn Hole, boardgames like Sorry and Guess Who, and a variety of colouring activities. Please stay tuned for info on the next Games Lounge!

Jan 24, 2022 · To brighten students’ days, the Mezzanine turns into the Games Lounge, an open space to safely meet, play games, enjoy snacks and fun activities while on campus. The Games Lounge has been a part of the Surrey Campus since 2018, and is part of ongoing Student Engagement Initiatives.

The SUB offers 113,000 square feet of student activity and study space, and some much-needed facilities, including individual study stations, lounge spaces, event and social gathering spaces, rehearsal rooms, a napping room, a gaming lounge and a large dining hall connecting to Maggie Benston Centre (MBC).

Welcome to the Games Room! New for Winter 2024 / 2025: Adaptive gaming equipment available for loan at SFU library. We've now added adaptive controllers to our core collection of gaming equipment! These modular technologies are designed to make gaming more accessible for people with disabilities and/or mobility limitations.
