Formed in 1906, the Surrey School District currently has the largest student enrolment in British Columbia and is one of the few growing districts in the province. It is governed by a publicly elected board of seven trustees.

Secondary Schools: Once registration opens, all out-of-catchment student registrations are to be placed on a waitlist that is prioritized according to Board Policy #9320 and Regulation #9320.1 (Section 4.A). Placement of waitlisted students will be determined based on school capacity.
