May 26, 2015 · I'm looking for the smallest flattest fan for a SBC. Any thing you fellas can direct me to? Small in diameter as well as flat on the face.not much room between my radiator and pump. If at all possible, try, try to build and fit a shroud around that fan.

Jun 6, 2002 · I traditionally have not recommended flex fans, but the new generation from Derale are a big improvement with higher grade stainless steel blades allowing higher pitchs at idle and superior flattening at higher RPMs.

Apr 27, 2009 · I'm putting in a new sbc stroker and I want to trash can the whole clutch fan concept. I'm on summit looking at electric fans but can't decide what CFM I might need. They run anywhere from 1000 to 4000 CFM's.

Aug 11, 2014 · I did some research and some of the options I found are: GM 7 blade fan (pn 393996), 1618P Flexalite or Derale 17318. I have an 18" opening in the shroud (but have access to larger shrouds). Thoughts/suggestions are appreciated. I'd run the biggest stock clutch fan that will fit properly in the shroud. X 2... stock fans hard to beat...
