Otherwise, that dip has made me seek out REL and Rythmik, as 55hz is the sweet spot for rock and metal kick drum, and having it 'scooped' leaves for overtly boomy and unbalanced sound.

Jun 14, 2021 · I had dual SB-3000's in my decent sized room. I really liked them. But then I got a single XTZ 3x12 and well... Jesus christ. This is it. The size is really tough to live with for most people though and that's why it has to leave my home as well. With that said, I believe most people would be really happy with the SB-3000 tbh.

Jan 18, 2020 · I'm currently running a single SB-3000 and love everything about SVS, so, naturally, my choice is between getting a second SB-3000 or selling my current one and getting a SB-4000. Now, I know that dual is generally better than single, but if I get a second SB-3000 I will most probably stick with them for a very long time.

Still, I found the SB-2000 Pro to be ample for music listening in my room, as there is a room mode that boosts the response about 6dB at 30Hz. For movies with LFE below 25Hz, though, the SB-3000 proved more useful.
