The ZR5 also comes with a bigger payload, trailering weight, and power than the other S10's. Mine came with heated, oversize mirrors to defrost ice and snow, four wheel disc ABS, 235/75r15 Wrangler tires, a larger drive shaft, and a stiffer suspension.

Jan 17, 2010 · Hi, I recently purchased a 2004 Chevy S10 ZR5 Crew Cab truck and I want to put in a stereo system. I am going to upgrade the head unit and all six speakers. I want to power them with either just a four channel amp (2 channels for 4 front speakers, 2 for the 2 rear speakers) or if I have room to spare a 4 channel (front) and a 2 channel (rear).

Dec 19, 2021 · The regular 4x4 is different than the ZR2 frame, and both of those are different than the ZR5. Your best bet is to repair the crack with some fish plating to strengthen the area. ZR2's are prone to cracking also so beware. Another difference in the frames is in the motor mounts. The ZR2 setup is totally different than the other two choices.

May 6, 2023 · on my 04 ZR5 the cable to the front diff stuck on. I had to take out the battery and tray. disconnect the vacuum diaphragm and pull the cable with my hand to disengage the front chunk. I bumped the button in the parking lot a few days earlier,..my 01 crew is manual,not used to column shift automatics anymore 😅
