Nov 14, 2021 · Update: I've made a board layout, or actually two of them, as I took nautibuoy's advice and split the circuit into the RTZ logic + reference + DAC (together on a four-layer board) and the reconstruction filter (separate two-layer board).
The HV7350 is an 8-channel monolithic high-voltage high-speed pulse generator with built-in fast return to zero-damping FETs. This high-voltage and high-speed integrated circuit is designed for portable medical ultrasound imaging system.
Oct 25, 2017 · switches, a receive damping circuit and an active RTZ circuit. The active RTZ circuit has a typical RON of 300Ω. The active RTZ circuit activates to discharge the transmitter’s output internal node when the transmit burst ends. The gate drivers for the output MOSFETs are powered by built-in linear floating regulators referenced to VPP and ...
the RTZ feature. The circuit is a single channel ultrasound transmitter using the MD1812 or MD1813 to drive TC6320 & TC2320 MOSFETs. It can generate fast return to zero waveforms. The output of high voltage to transducer has ±2A source and sink current capability. A CPLD programmable logic circuit and on-board 40MHz crystal oscillator generate

The HV7350 is a monolithic eight channel, high-speed, high voltage, ultrasound transmitter RTZ pulser. This integrated, high performance circuit is in a single, 8x8x0.9 mm, 56-lead QFN package. The HV7350DB1 is used to generate the basic high voltage pulse waveform as an ultrasound transmitting pulser. Please visit the full parametric chart.

May 19, 2018 · Protocols are often called "return to zero" (RZ) or "non-return to zero" (NRZ). Return to Zero protocols usually use a "high" signal, a "low" signal and a "zero state" to signal data, eliminating the need for separate signal circuits and extra logic in the chipset.
adaptive threshold circuit is used to set the level translator switch threshold to the average of the input logic 0 and logic 1 levels. The input logic levels can be ground referenced even though the driver is putting out bipolar signals. The level translator uses a proprietary circuit, which provides DC coupling together with high-speed operation.
Each analog channel structure integrates an active RTZ circuit (Clamp) and a T/R switch guaranteeing high OFF isolation between the high-voltage transmitter and the low-voltage receiver when the pulser is transmitting.
Designing an RTZ Pulser using Supertex’s HV7370 & HV748 This application note describes how to use the HV7370 damper and the HV748 pulser to design a high speed return-to-zero (RTZ) pulser. The output of the damper must go through two DC blocking diodes to connect to the pulser output as the schematic shows.

Nov 14, 2021 · To implement RTZ it runs the BCLK at twice the normal DSD frequency and resets every other native DSD BCLK period DATA to a zero. Hence the analog output volume level drops as though Vref were set to half the voltage.
