The Rover "hot-wire" EFI system can be installed on any Buick or Olds 215, or on Rover 3.5L aluminum V8s. (It was factory installed on the 3.9L and larger versions of this engine.) It works with any compression ratio too.

Started on the body late 2016 and complete late 2017, Did all the work myself, mechanical, body. paint etc. Finished and going well, great to drive and quick. Now has a nice 3.23 LSD.

May 14, 2018 · This 1974 MG MGB received a restoration and engine swap in 2005. They replaced the factory engine with a 3.5 L Rover V8 that features a MGB GT V8 intake with dual SU HIF6 carburetors. The drivetrain consists of a MGB GT V8 four-speed manual with Laycock overdrive and Salisbury differential with MGB GT V8 3.03 gears.

Oct 15, 2020 · A private sales advert for Rover V8 mountings for the MGB (attached) shows the aluminium brackets and the rubber mountings, and the angled bracket to fit the two bolt holes Rover V8 block - but how it goes together is not clear.
