I took my research project to Broadcom MASTERS (now the ThermoFisher JIC), a prestigious national middle school science competition, where I won the $10,000 DoD STEM Talent Award. After winning the DoD STEM Talent Award, I decided to apply to the Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes. This award presents a $10,000 prize to young change makers who are making an impact, mostly environmental, on the world.
