Dec 2, 2019 · Purchased a Romeo 5 XDr Predator green dot about a month ago. Took it out to the range once, on a 9MM PCC. Put it in the safe on the gun. Took it out a couple of days ago, and the battery seemed dead. Changed the battery and the sight came on, but only the bottom line. (Has a triangle, green dot, dot and triangle, or triangle only reticle.)

Dec 2, 2021 · Worked perfect every time. Last week, drove about 3 hours, and pulled it out to shoot at first outdoor range to get a feel for further than 25 yards outdoors full sun. The Romeo 5 would not power on when holding the (- or +) for 2 to 7 seconds, really frustrating. Changed to new battery, second new battery, still nothing.

Sep 12, 2021 · a-pairing the XDR w a Juliet, and forgetting about a scope? b - send back the XDR, and find some budget friendly (< $600 all-in) short (rds) + long (scope) configuration that I seek? Lastly, this config is for my MP 15-22 (no judgments and/or laughs) as it's a very affordable gun to regularly shoot as opposed to my 556's.

Jun 15, 2022 · I would go with the Romeo 5 because the Romeo 7 is a bit big (full-size) and much heavier. I own both. You can have multiple reticles on Romeo 5 XDR too whereas the Romeo 7 is only a red dot. If you plan to add a magnifier that makes the Romeo 7 even longer. Now they do make a Romeo 7S which is smaller I believe. I don’t own one of those.

Nov 26, 2020 · Just got the Romeo MSR and Juliet 3 Micro combo. This is my first magnifier. Didn't see any reviews and don't see it on Sigs website. Weight is 9.7 ounces where the regular Juliet 3 is 12.5 ounces. It has a push button on right side to flip it. Kind of hard to use, I can press with my right thumb then use index finger to flip it.

Having said that, I selected a Romeo 5 as my optical sight along with backup MBUS folding sights. After some 200 rounds of heavy 69 gr target loads, my Romeo 5 has been perfect in all respects.
