May 1, 2017 · I don't know much about the Roland FP-30, but I'm pretty sure all the modern digital pianos record all the MIDI signals the instrument can send. A relatively simple way to find out, would be, if someone could record a short MIDI file on the FP-30, then play it in Pianoteq, and check if the pedals of the interface go down.

Dec 19, 2018 · My instructor played for a small community theater play he was the only instrument, used the FP 30 with a Roland amp KC-80 50 watt. My husband and I attended the play sounded great. When my teacher and I play 2 piano duets at the nursing home he uses the FP30 without the amp. it sounds really good with the amp, not so much without it.

Mar 15, 2022 · I wonder if there is a portable triple pedal unit for the Roland FP-30X. I'm aware of the KPD-70 unit which is intended to be permanently mounted with the stand KSC-70. Theoretically one could of course remove the pedal part from the fiber board part of the KPD-70 and craft a cover of some sort to make it a free-standing unit.

Aug 26, 2020 · The FP-30 never appears as a Bluetooth device in Windows 10, even though Bluetooth's on in Windows, and I follow the FP-30 manual's directions for turning Bluetooth on. I've tried a cable, using the FP-30's "Computer" USB port. (I had to get a special cable with standard USB on one end, and the printer-style USB connector on the other.)

Mar 21, 2010 · None of the other apps I tried have a "Bluetooth" setting to turn on, so I was kinda stuck there. After installing the Korg app/drivers, both devices are only too happy and eager to tell me that there's a Roland FP-30 in the house. Though like I said, my older iPad 2 still won't see the FP-30 even with the Korg software installed.
