Descriptions on the Channel Store website state whether there's a cost or other requirements (like needing a cable provider). Add a PIN to your account at https://my.roku.com to make it more difficult to inadvertently add something that requires a payment.

Mar 18, 2023 · I've tried to add channels 3 and 4 and it doesn't work my fix was to toss this cheap TV with Cheap sound in the trash. Buy a quality TV. You know, the one with a remote that has numbers so you don't have to tab the button a million times trying to find channel 3 and 4 that doesn't not exist.

Sep 28, 2024 · I am trying to add Canadian channels, and I am in Canada, and they are all grayed out. I am logged it it a real tv channel, not a private one I have the app on my phone, so once I add the app to Roku, I can connect them. Not a dam thing will work. Sad to say but my experience with roku this time around has been horrible from times before.

Apr 9, 2024 · We appreciate you taking your first post in the Roku Community! Please note that you can watch the Twitch channel on a Roku device, but not with an official app on the TV. As mentioned, Amazon pulled the Twitch app from the Roku Channel Store in 2017.

Oct 2, 2024 · Then go back to the Optimum app and select your channel and hit play on the phone. The video should play on the Roku. Then turn your phone to landscape mode, and you should see full screen on the Roku. This does tie up your phone to watch Optimum, but it offers a workaround and saves the monthly cost of a set top box. Enjoy.
