If I purchase airfare through Road Scholar, is ground transportation included? If you purchase your airfare through us and travel on the scheduled arrival and departure dates, we’ll take care of getting you to the starting location of your program and back to the airport at the end.

In 1981, we introduced the first international programs in Great Britain and Scandinavia. By 2010, more than 4 million adults had taken Elderhostel programs, and the organization re-branded with a new name: Road Scholar.
