If your sdcard is named RG350 and you have you roms in the folder ROMS/mame84u3/roms then the soft link would be ln -s /media/RG350/ROMS/mame84u3/roms /media/data/local/share/xmame/xmame84/roms

Aug 27, 2020 · There are multiple releases available for the RG350: one for MAME4All, three for XMAME (all packaged together into one), and two for Final Burn Alpha. In order to work, emulators require game files, or ROMs, which are small “dumps” of game data retrieved from the arcade cabinets and packaged in a way that the emulator understands.

Nov 13, 2019 · I've just started playing MAME ROMs on my RG350. Mainly, I'm playing Ghosts & Goblins and Gauntlet and they work great - especially on MAME4All. I'd love to play R-Type but none of the ROMS I've found seem to work. If I try to load them in XMAME or MAME4All it says there are file missing.

To improve this situation, a kind of clone of the xMAME settings screen has been developed that can be integrated between SimpleMenu and the xMAME binaries that run the ROM at the end. It works on both screen models of RG350 and on RG280, i.e. it works for both the original model and the new RG350P and RG350M, and also on RG280M and RG280V.
