I don't think tey'll kiss or anything really major like that but they're definitely going to start dating because Langa already confessed to his mom that he has a crush on Reki so unrequited love is canon currently which is pretty close and the author of sk8 the infinity has writing bl in the past.

Jul 11, 2021 · So when I watched Sk8 I thought Renga was cute but didn’t fully ship it cause I don’t really ship things I don’t think are at least semi canon. Then I was really surprised when I saw episode 8, where Langa confessed to his mom and cindereki and began to see the canon validity of the ship. So nowadays I hardcore ship it!

Aug 16, 2022 · SK8 to me, is very clearly a sports anime where one of the core themes IS friendship and how it can grow and how it can break and treating it like a BL misses the point entirely. That being said, it’s not that I don’t support Renga too, but I accept that they are friends in this show and I’m cool with that.
