René Binder (born 1 January 1992) is an Austrian racing driver. He is the nephew of former Formula One driver Hans Binder, and his father, Franz, was also a racing driver. [1] Binder competing at Silverstone during the 2014 GP2 Series. Binder was born in Innsbruck.

Rene Binder won the final race ever to be contested in the World Series Formula V8, which, as the Renault World Series, has been one of the most valuable sources of talent for Formula 1 over the course of many years.
