The 575-foot steel freighter Regal Sword sunk after a collision with the tanker Exxon Chester, a 672-foot long vessel off Cape Cod on June 18, 1979 on a very foggy afternoon. The Exxon Chester suffered minor damage to its bow but was able to rescue all 38 crew members of the Sword when it deployed its life boats.

The Regal Sword is an actual wreck that itself holds bait and fish. About 1713 e.d.t., on June 18, 1979, the U.S. tankship S.S. EXXON CHESTER and the Liberian freighter M.V. REGAL SWORD collided in dense fog in the Atlantic Ocean southeast of Cape Cod, about 1 nautical mile east of the Boston Harbor Traffic Lane Inbound.

In every loop, I always find I have one spot I pound the hardest and longest, and on this loop it is the Regal Sword. This spot (area I should say) is awesome and has it all. There are varied depths and multiple wrecks.
