Tau color schemes operate differently than most other armies. The one important color is the Sept Color. This color ties the army together. Some examples of the Sept color include; White, Red, and Grey. Beyond the Sept Color, Tau usually has a 2 color uniform scheme.

Red overall is my least favorite color to work with. Base blue with orange accents is pretty cool, but it needs some white to break it up, and the blue and orange shades have to compliment each other.

Jan 1, 2012 · Farsight Enclave Armies are typically red and I decided to go with a Dark Red for this one. This color scheme is different than others in that most Tau Schemes have a darker Soft Armor and a lighter Armor Plates theme.
