Up here WV, they usually are talking about the Pine Squirrel or Red Squirrel, other places can be flying squirrel. I've seen flying squirrels in GA. Well, guess I saw a fairydiddle, that was a first.

He was not happy about being pulled out either. He sounded like a lightweight McCullough chainsaw without a muffler coming out of there. He had one nasty attitude too.

Jan 23, 2016 · Guy that was teaching me did say red fox and coyotes hate each other. He removes them live and said you can put a gray and a yote in the same cage together. A red though and they will go nuts. So from a territorial stand point red would be best. From a bait hole I would think gray. There is a bunch of grays but only a few reds running around.

Jul 16, 2021 · Some of the High Roller coon hunters are using them. But that is at night when it cools a little. I’m sure a coon has a much bigger heat signature than a squirrel does. I’d go with a vine puller, them young eyes and legs are the trick. I’ve bought allot of them off with a sundrop and a honey bun. A good one will retrieve for ya too.
