To me it's like Aurora is the introvert vs Rapunzel being the Extrovert. Both being born into royalty, not knowing till they come of age. The sun symbolism, how important them being a princess is to the whole story etc. My bf always says Rapunzel is just modern Aurora if Disney were to remake Sleeping Beauty to appeal to kids nowadays.
