Dec 24, 2008 · Rance series will most probably be concluded in a Kichikuou Rance -like game. Ever since Rance 6, there has been build-up for a grand showdown. Before Sengoku Rance, there were two empires that Rance hadn't conquered through fucking. Now only one remains.

Sep 29, 2012 · Nah, he was softer in VI. Aside from being the shittiest in the series, I also remember 5D having the douchiest Rance (although 4.1 with Operation Pervert Bird is a close contender). Just remember what he did to Feliss, for example. In Rance 6, it was the setting that got a lot darker, but Rance himself was nicer.

Jan 6, 2008 · Oh god, lolis that Rance doesn't fuck don't have a good track record... Its possible he gets whoever she was pregnant in Rance 8 just as he did in Kichikuou. IIRC his daughter ages mega-fast for whatever reason. Have to wonder if the need to pillage and rape will be passed on to his sons/daughters. Could make for a few more interesting spinoffs...

Jan 10, 2007 · Probably the longest Rance game (good thing, unlike the other 99% of JRPGs it manages to do so without wasting my time). Not translated. Rance Quest is basically Rance 6 minus the good story but plus for non-linearity and over 9000 characters. The 3D actually looked surprisingly good. Really grindy end though. Apparently close to being translated.

Sep 29, 2012 · Rance himself is not as likeable in the base game as he is in Magnum Rance, and the art in the extended game is a lot better. Some quick thoughts: + Although I do like Sengoku Rance waaaay more, this is an entirely different game and one that's easy to play for 10-15 minutes and then leave and not have to come back to for awhile.

Aug 17, 2023 · According to TADA (and therefore to be taken with a grain of salt), Kichikuou Rance was a system seller for Windows 95 in Japan. I wouldn't claim that Rance is high art or anything, but it's a fun adventure fantasy series with a bunch of technological and narrative innovations to it.

Feb 27, 2018 · My only suggestion is that you play as much of the series as you can before you play Rance X, including Rance 02, Rance 3/ 03, Rance VI, and Sengoku Rance. Also if you have enough patience, play Rance Quest Magnum with machine translation first as well, since many important characters are introduced in that game.
