Rabadash was the eldest son of the Tisroc of Calormen, who lived during the Golden Age of Narnia. Though he could project a gentle and well-mannered persona, Rabadash was a cruel, evil, and tyrannical man who took delight in tormenting others.

His human form is restored when he returns to Tashbaan, but thereafter he is forbidden to travel more than ten miles from the city, on pain of permanent transformation. His reign as Tisroc is therefore very peaceful despite earning the nickname "Rabadash the Ridiculous."

Rabadash is the main antagonist in The Horse and his Boy, the fifth instalment of The Chronicles of Narnia book series. He is a Calormene prince and the son of the Tisroc, the ruler of Calormen, a desert country south of Narnia.
