  3. Onkyo TX-RZ50 Review (Home Theater AVR)

Feb 12, 2022 · I have had it 6+ months now and I am really enjoying my Onkyo TX-RZ50. No third party adapter needed to enjoy 4K/120 content. No need to wait and pay extra for a DIRAC upgrade. Everything works exactly as advertised. I rip all my music on to an SSD in a lossless uncompressed format and plug the SSD into my Onkyo TX-RZ50’s usb input on the back.

  5. Onkyo TX-RZ50 Review (Home Theater AVR)

Feb 12, 2022 · First setup initial listening comments/Review of the RZ50's baby brother - Integra DRX 3.4... (not the NR7100, as it has no pre-outs...) Replace the old Onkyo TX-SR876 beast... (140W/ch 50kg...) Compare sound with no EQ to the old one with no EQ – lacks a bit of oomph... could be clearer in mid/highs.

  7. Onkyo TX-RZ50 Review (Home Theater AVR)

Oct 29, 2024 · Yes, the RZ50 is 7.1.4 where the RZ30 is 5.2.4 (or 7.2.2) Thanks, even with that facts, the RZ30 is, in my opinion a better choice for someone will only needs 5.1 and may have plan to expand to 9.1. That's because of the so called .2 vs the RZ50's .1. The RZ30 may have the lower spec DAC...

  8. Onkyo TX-RZ50 Review (Home Theater AVR)

Feb 12, 2022 · Last month I was able to get a TX-RZ50 and am very impressed with it so far. About 20 years ago I was a big Denon fan. Very beefy and rock sold amps / AVRs. but I was disappointed with all of the more recent denon models i evaluated. so i moved to an Onkyo TX-NR1007 which I liked a lot.

  10. Switching from Marantz to Onkyo TX-RZ50

May 26, 2022 · I finally decided to give Dirac and new equipment a try. I bought a RZ50 last spring and I was too busy to set it up, then got another one and I'm finally setting it up. The Onkyo is very easy to set up without Dirac and the On Screen Menus are amazing. My old Marantz is the SR8002 from 2008 and I also have a spare SR8001 from 2007.
