The round inserts for the sight on my rifle measure a whopping 0.747-inches (18.9mm) in diameter, with the tabs measuring 1.023-inches ( 25.98mm) across.

Aug 8, 2017 · It needed seals, and I had heard it was a delicate and difficult task to align the cogs, so I sent to the RWS service department in NJ and they rebuilt it for about $100. It was a pretty cool pistol with a good trigger and no recoil.

May 11, 2021 · Who would you recommend for Repair on a RWS Model 6M? I did a rebuild on one of these myself a few years ago, with JM parts. It was complicated, but not impossible. When I was done, the pistol worked just fine.

May 13, 2008 · With your help, I'm rebuilding a Model 6M, that I purchased new in 1986. The three folders that came with this gun have conflicting maintenance instructions. One has pictures of all of their guns and instructs that "A few drops of RWS compression chamber lube every 500 shots will suffice".

Mar 29, 2022 · I have a Diana 6M that is missing its rear sight. I can buy a generic type peep sight that mounts to the 3/8" dovetail. However, I need to know the approximate height above the top of the dovetail mount it should be.

Dec 13, 2009 · I have an RWS 6M that I purchased new almost 30 years ago. Shot it for a year or so and then put it in the safe. It now has no compression. I assume there's a piston seal or something that has dried out. Is there anybody who repairs such guns? Is it worth it to do so? Have materials improved so that passage of time doesn't render them inoperable?

Mar 5, 2015 · I have an RWS 6M (which I believe to be the same model as a Diana 6M), which probably needs to be tuned up/overhauled. I have recently acquired a Morini CM 162EI, which means that I won't be using the 6M any more.
