I actually found a website with a company that specializes in camper skirting. Nice, but VERY expensive. For our size camper, 26', it would cost 1100.00 for their skirting.

Aug 30, 2013 · Take foam insulation and cut it to fit from the ground to just above the bottom edge of your trailer, then use plywood screwed around it to make the skirting. Put a heat lamp under there on your water lines and then heat tape all of the water/sewer lines that aren't under the skirting and cover the heat tape with pipe insulation wrap.

May 29, 2014 · Even if we buy a used one, we might end up with many repair issues. Then, we have to purchase a truck that can haul one - another expense. We are not young and with no rv experience might be "taken" by shops if things go wrong when traveling to the land. Experienced rv'ers might duct tape the problem until they get home knowing it is a small issue.

By living in the RV we were able to get the mobile home livable alot sooner than if we lived off the farm.
