Oct 20, 2021 · Resident Evil 4 VR is a breath of fresh air for one of the most ported entries in Capcom's long-running series. While the game is missing modes like Separate Ways or The Mercenaries, Armature has crafted one of the best versions of Resident Evil 4 to date.

Unfortunately the Chicago Typewriter isn't in the game because Separate Ways isn't included, but judging by how well they remade RE4 for VR, I don't doubt armature will add it in a future update. Also the P.R.L is so fucking awesome in VR, and the knife was so satisfying to use.

The problem with ign’s review is that it is inconsistent. The vr version is a better experience than the flat version yet gets a lower score. Re4 vr is a better game than most vr games so that would mean that all vr games that are worse than re4 should be getting 8 or less. Should gt7 and re village get an 8? They are about equal in quality.

The VR experience in RE4 is on par and even a downgrade on certain aspects compared to Village, but the base game in itself is better. The combats are better, the exploration is way better, the game is longer, it's less linear, there's more things to do and more variations of gameplay, the story is better, and you can also get trophies this time.

Mar 18, 2023 · Hopefully we can get an official release some day, its really sad all the VR versions are exclusive to Playstation. Even the OG RE4 VR game is only on the Oculus Meta Quest 2 though at least that can also be used with PC easily.

Dec 13, 2021 · I was playing RE4 for the first time in VR and was enjoying the heck out of it. Was playing it on normal difficulty but somewhere around chapter 3 it just became too difficult.

Dec 12, 2023 · I love both re4 original and remake played them countless times, and the re4r vr is just brilliant being able to dual wield weapons, feeling like you are Leon, hands down anyone that owns a ps5 and psvr2 I recommend RE4, now onto my s+ pro run for the vr
