Mar 11, 2018 · Previous to the ITB's I had a modified original plenum manifold with an RB30 throttle body. The off idle smoothness and low down torque was very similar to the ITB's but beyond mid range and into the top end the ITB's were noticeably better.

Apr 19, 2010 · Start with a re-freshed rb26 head with custom NA cams. Keep the ITB's and throw some ram tubes on the induction side- You'll need to run a MAP sensor based ecu. Custom exhuast manifold/headers and exhaust.

Oct 24, 2006 · There is a location for a stock idler and tensioner on the RB30 block, but when you use those locations the timing belt comes dangerously close to itself. So you drill and tap a new location above the water pump for a second tensioner (not an idler).

Apr 24, 2023 · Not from here it doesn't - Literally the first pic when you search RB30E ITB is a 30e with a 26 ITB intake, there are adapters to suit the 30e head. The process for ITB and trumpets, is just the same as the 30DE conversion as it is for the 30e, and considerably more pointless.

Nov 18, 2006 · The easiest and most powerful N/A RB will be an RB30 bottom end with an RB26 head. High comp forged pistons can take you over 10:1 C/R and the RB26 head has factory throttle bodies already on it, simply remove the intake plenum.

Nov 21, 2013 · We used a 'Scando' modded RB30 Dist and VL (turbo) fuel pump and 6 x LS-1 Coils. We run everything through the computer which logs oil pressure, water temp and all the other hoo-harr and the only tuning so far is on the road using the Lamdar.
